The Chess group was established following the Open Day, late in 2022, when my interest in joining a group was turned around to my starting one!! Usual story I imagine.

2nd and 4th Monday of the month - in our small flat in St Anne’s. 

We have players at most levels but the key objective is to play and have fun doing so. We have recently introduced a chess ladder and during our short time we have played Spassky Random chess and clock timed games to add a bit of fun. Of course we all want to win but no one seems to mind losing!?

We are also happy to teach members how to play. The timing of this would be as convenient for both parties and we have people in both St Anne`s and Lytham who are available to do this.
